Benin And Abuja Witnessed The Wedlock Of Osas & Osas

It was palpable fun and pageantry as Benin City, the Edo State capital, witnessed the spectacular traditional marriage ceremony between Osas Osa-Edoh and Osas Amadin. The Church Wedding took place in the sprawling and glittery Federal Capital City and the domicile of the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Marriage was between former Miss Osas Osa-Edoh, daughter of Dr.O Osa-Edoh and Mrs J Obaseki and Osas Amadin, son to & Engr. and Mrs O.H Amadin, both prominent families from the state. The Traditional Wedding wore the mood of royalty as both bride and groom were decked in traditional beads and other attires, depicting the rich Edo and African cultures. Osas the Groom particularly portrayed a dignified full blown Edo lady, as the Okuku, a female head jar made of the ceremonial red beads.
